Designed for children 6 - 9 (elementary school age - Junior classes J6 & J5 ) who are interested in nordic skiing. Children will be skiing both freestyle (skate) and classic techniques and they will also learn ski care and waxing fundamentals. Games and fun are a big part of this program, and allow for individual progress. Participation at local races is used to support what the children are learning. Some skiers/families may want to participate in the Western States Ski Festival in February.
Because of the wide range of abilities of this age group, we may need some dedicated parents to help occassionally. Please let us know if you are interested.
